Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Clearance Coordinatorto review title commitments and clear outstanding title requirements prior to closing. This role requires strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze title commitments to identify liens, judgments, prior mortgages, vesting issues, and other items requiring clearance
- Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to resolve outstanding title exceptions
- Manage an active pipeline of files, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress toward closing
- Utilize reports and dashboards to monitor workflow and meet production deadlines
- Serve as a point of contact for borrowers, clients, and internal teams, responding promptly to calls and emails
- Participate in phone queue support to address title-related inquiries
- Ensure clearance steps align with underwriting guidelines and state requirements
- Maintain quality standards and review daily progress reports
- Support lender relationships and collaborate with internal departments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–5 years of experience in the real estate or mortgage industry
- Knowledge of title review, deed preparation, and closing processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Customer service-focused with professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
