Position Summary:
VetClaims.ai is hiring a Social Media Support Specialist to engage with veterans across social media platforms. This role focuses on responding to comments and messages, providing clear and empathetic support, and ensuring a positive veteran experience in both public and private interactions.
This is a customer support role on social media, not a content creation or marketing position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms
- Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication
- Move sensitive conversations to private channels when appropriate
- Escalate complex or high-risk situations to leadership
- Follow SOPs, response templates, and brand voice guidelines
- Track trends, feedback, and recurring issues
- Support ticket creation and documentation when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in customer support, call center, or similar role
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult or emotional interactions professionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Google Workspace, Slack, or similar tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of VA claims or veteran-related services
- Familiarity with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations)
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X)
- Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (HubSpot or similar)
