Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Closing Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the closing process for mortgage transactions, ensuring compliance with all regulations and facilitating a smooth experience for clients and external partners. Your expertise in financial services and loan processing will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Closing Instructions and prepare Closing Disclosures and ALTA statements
  • Audit loan documents prior to closing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Coordinate with borrowers, agents, attorneys, and lenders to schedule and confirm closings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve closing-related issues in collaboration with clients and borrowers
  • Pre-balance files to ensure accurate disbursement of funds
  • Ensure all documents comply with federal, state, and client-specific requirements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers, addressing questions and concerns throughout the process
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of mortgage closing experience required
  • Title experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of real estate titles, deed preparation, and closing procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Job Details:

  • Full Time: M-F
  • Shifts: Starting at 9AM/ 10AM EST or 1230PM EST
  • Pay: $18.00-$22.00
